What Was Promised at Confirmation?

Share

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has not adhered to many promises made during his confirmation hearings regarding vaccine policies. Despite assuring senators, including Elizabeth Warren and Bill Cassidy, of his support for childhood vaccinations, his actions have led to the dismissal of existing vaccine advisory council members and altered CDC recommendations. Consequently, the CDC removed universal vaccine recommendations for healthy children, significantly affecting vaccination funding and research, while new statements on vaccine safety have caused controversy around autism links.
