Share

Women worldwide are increasingly delaying childbearing, impacting cancer diagnosis rates during pregnancy. Notably, the fertility rate among women aged 35-39 rose 71% from 1990 to 2023, with increasing cases of cancers like breast cancer diagnosed during pregnancy. This review evaluates studies focusing on quality of life (QOL) for pregnant women with cancer, identifying key themes such as breastfeeding concerns, psychological distress, and the critical role of social support. It highlights significant gaps in literature and the necessity for targeted interventions for this population.
