Share

A study from Harvard analyzed data from 25,820 patients, revealing that higher adherence to a healthy lifestyle post-hypertension diagnosis significantly reduces risks for cardiovascular disease and type 2 diabetes. The research indicates that those with optimal healthy lifestyle scores had a 51% lower cardiovascular risk and a 79% lower diabetes risk compared to lower-scoring individuals. These findings suggest that lifestyle modifications can be as crucial as medication in managing hypertension, urging a united approach for improving treatment outcomes.
