A 9-week-old infant diagnosed with botulism underwent timely treatment leading to complete neurological recovery. The infant, initially presented with constipation and progressive weakness, was hospitalized for respiratory support. Nerve conduction studies indicated botulism and, after administering antitoxin on day 4, the infant showed significant improvement. Laboratory testing confirmed Clostridium botulinum type B. Proper public health response facilitated investigation despite no source being identified, highlighting the importance of swift clinical action in rare diseases.
