Achieving Predictable Facial Bone Reconstruction at Immediate Implant Placement Utilizing the Facial Allograft Shield Technique

Share

Resorption following tooth loss poses challenges for dental implant treatments, especially in the esthetic zone. Traditional bone augmentation methods, such as using autogenous bone grafts, may be contraindicated due to patient-specific factors. The facial allograft shield technique (FAST) offers a minimally invasive alternative using allogeneic laminar bone membranes, allowing for immediate implant placement even in cases of compromised facial bone. This case series demonstrates how FAST can stabilize soft tissues and achieve predictable outcomes without the need for additional surgeries.
