Elinzanetant May Reduce Side Effects of Endocrine Therapy Among Patients With Breast Cancer

Share

Elinzanetant, a neurokinin-targeted therapy, provides significant relief from hot flashes and night sweats in patients undergoing hormone treatment for estrogen receptor-positive breast cancer, as demonstrated in the OASIS 4 clinical trial. Presented by Dr. Fatima Cardoso at the 15th European Breast Cancer Conference, findings indicate that elinzanetant offers consistent relief regardless of hormone therapy type. As a nonhormonal option, it reduces vasomotor symptoms without compromising cancer treatments, supporting better patient compliance and quality of life.
