AI models may improve PCOS detection

Share

A systematic review by Mustafa Ghaderzadeh, PhD, and colleagues from Urmia University analyzes the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in diagnosing polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). They reviewed 80 studies, highlighting that AI models significantly outperform traditional diagnostic methods and can identify potential biomarkers. Despite promising results, challenges such as model interpretability and validation remain. The study emphasizes the need for future research focused on large, multicenter trials to ensure reliable integration of AI in PCOS management.
