A retrospective study examined the efficacy of the 0.19 mg fluocinolone acetonide implant in treating non-infectious posterior uveitis (NIU-PS) over a mean follow-up period of nearly 30 months. The findings suggested sustained improvements in both functional and anatomical outcomes, including improved visual acuity, reduced retinal thickness, and stable intraocular pressure. This study provides valuable insights into the long-term benefits of the fluocinolone acetonide implant for patients with NIU-PS.
1. Retrospective study on 0.19 mg fluocinolone acetonide implant in non-infectious posterior uveitis. 2. Improved visual acuity and reduced retinal thickness observed. 3. Baseline patient characteristics recorded at FAc implant administration. 4. Mean follow-up duration of 29.7 months. 5. Sustained improvements in functional and anatomical outcomes.
