A case study from a Bremen pathology institute illustrates how implementing an AI-integrated laboratory information system (LIS) improved efficiency by structuring data capture during dictation, reducing documentation backlogs, and enhancing communication. This approach ensures that, while diagnostic accuracy is critical, optimizing underlying processes is equally essential for the future of pathology.
