Improving Sleep Quality in Patients With ADHD

Share

A new study explores the factors contributing to poor sleep quality in adolescents with ADHD. Through social media recruitment, researchers investigated the impact of ADHD symptoms, household characteristics, and sleep habits on sleep quality. They found that the correlation between ADHD symptoms and poor sleep quality was partially mediated through chaos and sleep hygiene, leading them to emphasize the need for novel behavioral interventions to improve sleep quality in these patients. The study was published in SLEEP and will be presented at SLEEP 2024.
