The American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) has partnered with PA Consulting to establish a new next-generation clinical data registry, building on the success of the existing DataDerm registry. This new cloud-based system aims to consolidate data from thousands of dermatology practices, streamline reporting processes, develop new member dashboards and practice management tools, and advance dermatologic research and patient care. Marta Van Beek, MD, MPH, FAAD, Chair of the DataDerm Oversight Committee at the AAD, emphasized that the partnership will provide a better user experience and enable the effective use of data to advocate for the specialty and improve patient care.
